Are you guys interested in my Tarot Study Course?

I've posted the introduction above. You can find it in the main menu now.

It's about 13 lessons that you can work through at your own pace.  I can bring that back online if there is any interest in it.  Just let me know.

You can contact me with the main menu > Contact Me > Darrell Hensley > Contact Form, or you can create an account here and post questions in my forum.

Tarot and Astrology

Tarot and Astrology

There are 16 cards that represent the Court Arcana in the Rider-Waite Tarot Deck. They are the Page, Knight, Queen, and King of each suit. The four Knights are instigators of change. They mark the beginning or end of a sequence of events for the querent. Since we only need 12 cards to make this correlation we will disregard the Knights for this discussion.  I believe the remaining 12 Court Arcana have a direct correlation with the signs of the Zodiac.

In ancient times it was thought that the world was made up of just four elements---- Fire, Water, Air and Earth. Each of these elements represents three astrological signs and correlates with one of the suits of the Court Arcana. I’ll list each Court card and the astrological sign that I believe most closely matches the generally accepted traits of that card. If in any particular spread,  one of these cards does not indicate the specific astrological sign shown,  then it probably represents one of the other signs within its element.

It's been a busy week.

I've been able to get all of the original Tarot Reference back online and I've installed a Forum.

The forum will require a lot of configuration. I looking for ideas about forum categories so if your interested create an account here and start posting! If you're not quite ready to create your own account then visit the contact us page and drop me a note that way.

I've begun creating ads for the site to help generate income to pay for the hosting.  If you see a banner on the site your interested in please feel free to click on it and check out what the vendor has to offer.

I've got our first free e-book online already!  Check out the special offers for your very own copy of Reiki and the Law of Attraction. Take the time to rate the book after you've read it to help others decide if they want it or not.

Future plans include bringing the Tarot Course online, updating the forum, and expanding the special offers.

Stay tuned!

The Four Suits

There are 78 cards in a traditional Rider-Waite Tarot deck. These cards can be divided into smaller subsets or groupings of cards.

The Major Arcana are represented by 22 cards. In a reading these cards typically indicate major events and/or people in our lives.

The remaining 56 cards make up the Minor Arcana. They typically represent aspects of everyday life.

The Minor Arcana can be further broken down into four suits of 14 cards each. These four suits are Wands, Cups, Swords, and Pentacles. They are what modern day playing cards descended from.

  • Wands – Clubs
  • Cups – Hearts
  • Swords – Spades
  • Pentacles – Diamonds

Welcome to the Psy-Center!

As you can see I'm experimenting with Joomla again.  I'm anxious to see what I can come up with, and if I can tailor this to hold my Tarot Reference and Study Course. Hopefully I'll be able to bring the entire Tarot Reference back online eventually.

After I have it all back online I plan to extend and update the content as well.

Feel free to poke around as much as you like while I continue to tinker with the various settings.

See ya!
